Project Background
Good2Talk, a service offered by Kids Help Phone, provides free, confidential support services for post-secondary students in Canada. The project aimed to develop a sustainable digital solution for Good2Talk’s primary and secondary users that supports them in all stages of seeking mental health support, promotes their agency in seeking help, and encourages them to continue their mental well-being journey.
My Role:
I conducted user research study identified the behaviors, frustrations, needs, and wants of the users. Subsequently, utilizing the findings from the research, I managed the development of a new website which now serves as its official platform.
Results:
- Addressed users’ frustrations by incorporating the user research findings
- Ensured 100% Digital Accessibility by incorporating AODA and WCAG 2.0 guidelines
- Promoted the brand elements on the website and addressed stakeholders’ needs
- Enhanced SEO through new website content and user-friendly design
- Enhanced service quality by incorporating the stepped care model in the website design
